Susan O'Dell
ORRVILLE -- Susan J. O'Dell, 87, 611 Beaver Street, Orrville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Orrville Pointe in Orrville, following a one-month illness.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, with the Rev. Terry P. Weirich officiating.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville.
Online registry and expressions of condolence may be made at the funeral home's Web site at www.aublefuneralhome.com.
She was born Aug. 5, 1919, in Clay County, W.Va., to the late Poley and Lela (Grose) Hanshaw, and married Hubert O'Dell on July 7, 1941, in Clay County, W.Va. He died Oct. 8, 1987.
Susan was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially when the whole group was together.
Surviving are five sons, James O'Dell of Orrville, Perry (Mim) O'Dell of Dalton, David (Brenda) O'Dell of Wooster, Richard (Sherry) O'Dell of Big Prairie and Bob O'Dell of Orrville; three daughters, Rose (Jimmy) Murphy of Orrville, Bonnie Woods of Rupert, W.Va., and Vera Sue (Jim) Jordan of Wooster; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis O'Dell, two sons, Lowell and John O'Dell, two brothers and four sisters.
