Don and Gertrude were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 1 1930), 405 Kanawha Street (apparently a large apartment building), Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia:¹⁴

He then married Lillian "Jimmy" Kingery¹¹ [Lillian Shuck^1,16]. Lillian, daughter of Ernest Cecil Kingery & Carlie Faye Stollings, was born Jul 3 1917, Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia.^8,9,10,11

Donas Elton Hanshaw died Jun 30 1981, Hometown, Putnam County, West Virginia.^4,10 It is believed that Donas killed himself.¹⁶

Lillian died Dec 20 2009, Teays Valley Center, Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia; age 92.^10,11
