He married Ruth Walker, Nov 18 1731, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1,5,6  Married by Dr. Joseph Sewall, Presn.5,6  Ruth was born Aug 15 1713, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1  

James Henshaw died 1757.3  

Sybil Henshaw, who did considerable genealogical research, stated that James was a sea captain and had died at sea.  She further stated that James had two children, James and William, who were both taken and raised (or apprenticed) by Benjamin Henshaw, James' nephew and the boys' first cousin.2
