Harvey was named after his maternal grandmother, Rebecca Harvey. Of course Harvey never liked his middle name and refused to use it, generally going only by Harvey R. Hinshaw.13

On Sep 12 1918 Harvey Rebecca Hinshaw, age 32, registered for the World War I draft in Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa. He declared he was born October 3, 1885, and was then residing in Anthon, Woodbury County, Iowa where he was Superintendent employed by the Board of Education. He declared his nearest relative was Beulah B. Hinshaw of Anthon. He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, light hair.12

At Oskaloosa MM on 7-2-1931, Beulah was dropped from membership by request.5
Harvey Rebecca Hinshaw died Nov 29 19501, Boy River, Cass County, Minnesota1 [Itasca County, Minnesota14].
Bulah died Jan 18 1957, El Paso, El Paso County, Texas; buried Restlawn Memorial Park, El Paso County, Texas.1,15
