Henshaw, GeRush, wife, age 25, born in Illinois; parents born in Tennessee; keeping house; cannot read or write.
Henshaw, Mary E., daughter, age 12, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois; attended school.
Henshaw, Alice, daughter, age 3, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.
Henshaw, Sarah, daughter, age 5 months, born Feb [1880] in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.
James Myles Henshaw died before Nov 18 1899.8
On Oct 25 1895, "Mrs. Jarusa Henshaw" remarried to William Gruber, Perry County, Illinois.12 This would seem to indicate that James had apparently died by 1895.
In the 1900 census, at least two of James' children, Fannie13 and Roscoe,14 were not living with Jerusha, but instead were living in the care of James' sister Mary Ann.
