Julia Hinshaw1 [Angelia O. Hanshaw2, Angelique Breckenridge1, Angelina Breckenridge1, Julia Breckenridge1].

Born Mar 20 1862.3  

Julia is a mystery.  Family folklore says she was born Angelique or Angelina Breckenridge (before Silas married Rebecca Breckenridge) and she was later adopted by Silas.1  It is not known for certain if Silas was Julia's natural father.  

She married David Edward "Ed" Sage, Aug 5 1880, Pontiac, Livingston County, Illinois.2  David, son of Elnathan Sage & Maria Buckley, was born Aug 7 1857, Sidney, Shelby County, Ohio.1,2  

Ed was a fireman for the Wabash Railroad.1  


Orvan Webster Sage, born Sep 1883; died 1972; married Cora Belle Wight.
Beatrice Madee "Maude" Sage, born c1882; married Charles Clark.
Clarence Sage, died in infancy.

Julia Hinshaw died Jun 28 1885, Streator, LaSalle County, Illinois; buried Grace Land Cemetery, Fairbury, Livingston County, Illinois.1  Julia's grave is not marked.1  

After Julia died, David remarried on Mar 31 1886 to Louisa Tucker.1  

David died Jul 23 1917, Forrest, Livingston County, Illinois; buried Avoca Cemetery, north of Fairbury, Livingston County, Illinois.1,4
