Write-up by Peter

The first time we hiked this trail, Rusty gave us abuse for getting a "cheap leaf" on a "weak hike" while he was out of town. Well, this time he was in town and picked up one of those cheap leaves himself. In fact it was his 60th leaf (does that make a sex-tree?).

1, 2, 3, ... INCH!

I'm scratching my head trying to come up with something interesting to say about this hike, but I'm drawing a blank. We did have a newbie, Anthony, joining us, but unfortunately The Boss had put the kibosh on my initiation ceremony, so we just had to welcome him in a normal, polite manner. Boring!

The only other noteworthy thing I can remember is that Rusty and I were the only ones who made it to the Trail Camp. The rest of the pack turned back early. We did eventually catch up with them at Castle Rock, but they were just about to leave, so we turned around and headed back with them. No big deal -- I had seen it before, and The Man was not impressed by it anyway. If it ain't Half Dome, Canteen Boy ain't interested!

Milestones:
Anthony's 1st leaf
Russ's 60th leaf
