Get detailed map, (31k) (including depths). Silver Lake is located on Butterfield Road, west of Winfield Road, south of Mack Road. This lake is located in the Blackwell Forest Preserve. Blackwell also offers access to the DuPage River (at Mack road). The last time I visited this lake, the boat ramps were under construction. (Stocking info '02)This lake will reopen at sunrise, April 6th for Trout fishing. This lake will be stocked with 4400 Trout. (No size limit, 5/day max) You must possess a valid fishing license and inland trout stamp. The lake is being stocked by the IDNR.
