Description


Walleye are excellent sport and table fish. Walleye fishing starts soon after thaw and fish are taken often in the rapid waters below dams and in riffles using minnows, spinners or jigs fished off the bottom. The largest walleye are usually taken in winter.

Regulations

Daily creel limit is 6 walleye either singly or in the aggregate, unless site specific regulations say otherwise. All walleye must be 14 inches in total length or longer except in the Mississippi, Ohio or Wabash river. Obey all site specific regulations. Site specific limits
