At Cane Creek MM on 10-3-1812, Mary & her sister Rebekah were "received by request".1  

She married Samuel Pike, 11-6-1828, Cane Creek, North Carolina.1,2,4  Samuel, son of John Pike & Mary Davison, was born 6-3-1810.1,2,5,6  Note that Mary's brother Ira married Samuel's sister Abigail Pike.  

Mary & Samuel had 10 children and 67 grandchildren.2  Children:6

Jesse Pike, born Aug 25 1829, died Apr 17 1898; buried Rocky River.
Elizabeth Jane Pike, born Mar 25 1831, died Jan 31 1915; married William Pickett.
John Pike, born Feb 27 1833, died Aug - 1863; married Dorcas Hodgin.
Nathan Pike, born May 13 1836, died Dec 17 1914; married Mariah Vestal.
George Washington Pike, born Jul 11 1838, died Jan 31 1896.
William Gaston Pike, born Nov 14 1840; buried Rocky River; married c1863 to Mariah Teague.
Mary Ann Pike, born Sep 24 1844, died Nov 29 1916; married Joshua F. Kemp.
Lucinda Caroline Pike, born Jan 2 1849.
Samuel Taylor Pike, born Apr 5 1851, died Mar 8 1927, buried Rocky River; married Sarah Jane Way.
Lavina Angelina Pike, born Jan 16 1854, married (1) Riley Way, (2) Sam Boggs.

Samuel died 9-6-1859.2,5  

Mary Ann Hinshaw died 5-8-1891.2,3,5
