At Cane Creek MM on 12-5-1795, Sarah and sister Mary were received by request.²

She married Peter Larrance, 1-12-1822, Marlborough MM, North Carolina.^2,44,65,67    (Peter Lawrence)^44,67    (Peter Larrance)⁴⁴    Peter Larrance, son of John Larrance & Nancy Ann Needham, was born 6-2-1774.^2,65,a

Sarah was Peter's third wife.²    Peter had previously been married to Abigail Heydock,² then to Abigail Hinshaw, Sarah's 3rd cousin.²

Sarah & Peter's marriage was noted on Friday, February 8, 1822 in the "Raleigh Register":^67,b

In Randolph Co., on the 12th of the previous month, Mr. Peter Lawrence was married to Miss Sarah Henshaw, both of said county.    This is Mr. L's third wife.

By 1846 Sarah was living in Indiana.^c

Sarah and family were shown in the 1850 census (Jul 26 1850), Spiceland Township, Henry County, Indiana:^d

Sarah Hinshaw died Jan 21 1856, buried Spiceland, Henry County, Indiana.⁶⁵
