Waita C. Hinshaw
Graveside services for Waita C. Hinshaw of Colorado Springs will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Osage City Cemetery, Osage City, Kan., the Rev. Dennis Raylor officiating. Mrs. Hinshaw died Thursday in a local nursing home. She was born January 22, 1886 in Greenleaf, Kan., and had lived here since 1963. She also had lived in Topeka, Kan., and Bountiful, Utah. She married A.R. Hinshaw Dec. 22, 1909, in Lawrence, Kan. She was a member of the Vista Grande Church of God and the Order of the Eastern Star, Clairce Chapter 390 of Wakause, Kan. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Nelson of Colorado Springs, a son F.P. Hinshaw of Bountiful, Utah; grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also buried in the same cemetery are son Floyd L. Hinshaw and his wife.5
