Mary was shown in the 1920 census (Jan 17 1920), living in her brother Ben's household in Danvers Township, McLean County, Illinois:5

Hinshaw, Mary, sister, age 34, born in Illinois; father born in Illinois; mother born in Pennsylvania; single.
Living next door in 1920 was the family of Isaac Dunlap, which included brother Edward (Edwin) Dunlap, age 49 and single,6 who would soon become Mary's husband.  

She married Edwin C. Dunlap2,3,4,7 [Edward Dunlap6], Dec 20 19202,3,4,7.  Edwin was born 1870, Illinois.2,6  

Edwin died 1942, Tuberculosis sanitorium, Normal, McLean County, Illinois.2,3,4,8  

Mary C. Hinshaw died Jan - 1953, buried Parklawn Cemetery, McLean County, Illinois.2,3,4  Medical: Mary died from a stroke.9  

Mary's obituary appeared in the Bloomington Pantagraph on, as follows:4

Mrs. Mary Dunlap
Danvers -- (PNS) -- Mrs. Mary Dunlap, 67, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Brokaw Hospital, Normal, where she had been a patient about two weeks.  
She ws taken to the Otto and Argo Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday.  Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.  
She was born Jan. 13, 1886, in Danvers, a daughter of Charles N. and Anna Ellen Smith Hinshaw.  She was married to Edwin C. Dunlap Dec. 20, 1920.  He died in 1942.  
Surviving are: four brothers, Charlie Hinshaw, Lilly; Ben Hinshaw, Danvers; Don Hinshaw, Farmington; and Bert Hinshaw, Peoria, and one sister, Mrs. Laura Rockel, Danvers.  Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
