Born Feb 27 1932, Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana.1,4  

He married Louise Wallace, Jul 31 1954, probably Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.1,5  

In October of 1972, Harold's family lost all their possessions when their home burned down.  At that time Harold was working two jobs - days at the Boone Grain & Feed Co. in Lebanon, Indiana, and nights as a diesel blower inspector at Detroit Diesel Allison Division, General Motors, Indianapolis.1  

In 1996 Harold and family were residing in Indianapolis, Indiana.1  

Harold Wendell Hinshaw died Mar 3 2007, buried Floral Park Cemetery.5  

Harold's obituary was published in "The Indianapolis Star" (Indianapolis, Indiana) on March 6, 2007:5

Harold Wendell Hinshaw 75, Indianapolis, died March 3, 2007.  He was an inspector 45 years for Allison's Transmission Division of General Motors.  He was a member of Westside Apostolic Church.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Wed. March 7, 2007 in Westside Apostolic Church, 1540 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis, IN.  Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tues. March 6, 2007 in Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel.  Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.  Survivors include wife, Louise (Wallace) Hinshaw; children, Aubrey, Glen, John, Danny, Donny and Roger Hinshaw, Rebecca Boldery, Janet Shaw, Donna Collins and Rose Macon; brothers, Melvin and Marvin Hinshaw; sister, Virginia Cottongin; 29 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
