Don had "club feet" - Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) - as did his brother Virgil.5,6  The club feet came from his mother's side, where all of her brothers had it.5

He married Ophelia Edna Leona Hoffman, Waterloo, Monroe County, Illinois.1  Ophelia, daughter of Adam + Ida Hoffman, was born Aug 20 1914.4,7  

As of 1991, Don was a school teacher in St. Louis, Missouri.8  

In 1999 Don was still living in St. Louis, Missouri.4
