Hinshaw in Forsyth County, North Carolina birth records,6 but as Samuel David Hinshaw in Forsyth County death records2,7 and in the obituary of brother Miller,1 and as David Hinshaw in the obituary of brother James.5 It is possible there might have been two different children (twins??),8 however there is only one birth record, and only one child of this age shown with the family in the 1930 census, so it appears this was the same child recorded under different names.
Samuel was a World War II veteran.2
He married Una Ruth Wallace.2
