At Newberry MM (Ohio) on 3-20-1843, Margaret was received by request.¹⁰  

She married William Norton^{11,12,13,14,15} [William J. Norton^16,17,18, William W. Norton¹⁹], May 5 1850^{11,12,13,14,15}, Randolph County, Indiana^{11,12,13,14,15}.  William, son of William Norton & Elizabeth Snead, was born Nov 11 1826, Randolph County, Indiana.^19,20,21  

This Norton family was apparently very friendly with the Hinshaws.  The following Norton siblings married Hinshaws:¹⁹

At Newberry MM on 2-16-1852, Margaret Norton (formerly Hinshaw) was disowned for her "marriage out of unity".¹⁰

Margaret later lived in Arkansas.¹⁴  

Widow Margaret was shown in the 1910 census (May 6 1910), living alone in Spring Creek Township, Phillips County, Arkansas:⁶

Margaret Hinshaw died Jan - 1911, Arkansas; buried LaGrange Cemetery, LaGrange, Lee County, Arkansas.^7,24  Margaret shares a double gravestone with her son Abel Sanford Norton.^7,24
