He married Beulah Ruth Stone, Oct 5 1940, Albright Township, Chatham County, North Carolina.15,16  Beulah, daughter of Willie Harrison Stone & Elizabeth Campbell, was born Nov 16 1921, Chatham County, North Carolina.16,17  

At Plainfield MM on 9-13-1941 Isham Willard Hinshaw and Beulah Stone Hinshaw were received into membership.2  

On Oct 16 1940 Isham Williard Hinshaw, age 22, registered for the World War II draft in Pittsboro, Chatham County, North Carolina.  He declared he was born Feb. 12 1918 in Chatham County, North Carolina, and was then residing at Rt. 1, Siler City, Chatham County, North Carolina, employed with High Point Bending & Chair Co. of Siler City.  He declared his relative/contact was his wife, Mrs. Beulah Hinshaw of the same address.  He was recorded as 6'1.5" tall, 145 lbs., gray eyes, black hair, light brown complexion.  His draft card shows Isham Williard Hinshaw at the top, but signed as Willard Hinshaw.6  

On Apr 30 1945 Isham W. Hinshaw, born 1918 in North Carolina, enisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a private in the U.S. Army.  He declared he had four years of high school, was married, and an airplane fabric and dope worker.18  

Isham Willard Hinshaw died Mar 22 2007, Laurels of Chatham, Pittsboro, North Carolina; age 89.3,5,12,13

Willard Hinshaw, age 89, of 1051 Tom Stevens Road, Siler City died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Laurels of Chatham, Pittsboro.  He was born February 12, 1918 the son of Willie Alexander and the late Mary Isabelle (Dixon) Hinshaw.  

Mr. Hinshaw was a native of Chatham County, owner/operator of Hinshaw Garage, a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting where he held numerous offices.  He was an Army veteran of WW II.  

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beulah Stone Hinshaw of the home: one son: Noble W. Hinshaw of Siler City: one sister: Hazel H. Smith of Staley: Grandson, Roger Hinshaw and wife, Judy: Granddaughter, Deborah Rickman and husband, Freddie of Siler City: Great-grandchildren, Corey Rickman, Brooks Hinshaw, Joy Hinshaw, Cassie Rickman, Carson Rickman.  

The family will receive friends Friday, March 23, 2007 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Plainfield Friends Meeting, 1956 Plainfield Church Road, Siler City with Will Carter officiating.  Burial will be in Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery.

Beulah died Dec 5 2013, Alamance Regional Hospital, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina; age 92.16

Beulah Stone Hinshaw, 92, of Tom Stevens Road, Siler City died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Alamance Regional Hospital, Burlington.  

Mrs. Hinshaw was born in Chatham County on November 16, 1921 the daughter of Willie Harrison and Elizabeth (Campbell) Stone.  She was a graduate of the Burlington Business School.  Mrs. Hinshaw was a homemaker and member of Plainfield Friends Meeting, where she was a life member of the USFW, served as Clerk of the Meeting and Sunday School Teacher.  She was a life member of the Silk Hope Home Demonstration Club.  Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Hinshaw.  

She is survived by one son: Noble W. Hinshaw and wife, Kay; grandson, Roger Hinshaw and wife, Judy; granddaughter, Deborah Hinshaw Rickman and husband, Freddie all of Siler City, NC; great-grandchildren, Brooks and Joy Hinshaw, Corey, Cassie and Carson Rickman; step-grandchildren, Nikki Edmonds and husband, Travis of Cary, NC, Kim Beane and husband, Don of Siler City, NC; step-great-grandchildren, Katelan, Chey and Jillian Beane; and sister, Turlie Lievers of Golconda, IL and several nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC.  The funeral will be Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Plainfield Friends Meeting, 1956 Plainfield Church Road, Siler City with Kevin Rollins and Rev. Greg Burriss officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
