A marriage bond was recorded for James M. Hinshaw & Elizabeth J. Welborn on Jun 1, 1857, Randolph County, North Carolina.  They were married on Jun 7 by J. White, J.P.7  

James converted to the Methodist church when he married Elizabeth.2
