Note that there appears to have been a divorce between Nathan & Rachel somewhere between 1881 and 1888.    Nathan & Rachel were shown together in the 1880 census, and child Albert Roy was born in 1881, but then Nathan remarried in 1888 to Diannah.    Rachel moved with her children from Kansas to Webb City, Jasper County, Missouri c1880s/90so (note also that none of Nathan & Rachel's children were shown in later Quaker records since they had moved away with Rachel).    In the 1920 census, Rachel was shown as "Emma Hinshaw" living with her son Ernest.e
Nathan Hinshaw died Jul 27 1907, West Fairmount, Grant County, Indiana; buried Park Cemetery.p    Nathan's obituary appeared in the Marion Daily Chronicle on Monday, July 29, 1907:p
DEATH OF N. HINSHAW
Nathan Hinshaw died at his home in West Fairmount at 11 o'clock Saturday night after a lingering illness with dropsy and complications.    He was 65 years of age.    A widow and one daughter survive him.    Funeral services were conducted at the Friends church at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon.    Interment was made at Park cemetery.
Diannah died Sep 23 1919, Fairmount MM, Indiana; age 66.50,q
