He married Hannah Piggott, 10-27-1825, Cane Creek MM, Orange County, North Carolina.^{2,44,93,95,129,217}    (Hannah Pickett)^47,50    Hannah Piggott, daughter of Benjamin Davis Piggott & Ruth Davis, was born 10-11-1801, Orange County, North Carolina.^{2,93,95,129,205}

At Cane Creek MM on 4-4-1829, Thomas, Hannah & family were granted certificates to White Water MM, Indiana.    During that same year, Thomas's mother, Rebecca, sisters Ruth and Rebekah, brother Simon and family, and brother Ezra and family, were all granted certificates to White Water² (perhaps because their father had died four years earlier).

At White River MM (Indiana) on 10-14-1829, Thomas & son Job and wife Hannah & daughter Dinah were received on a certificate from Cane Creek MM, Chatham County, N.C.    Approximately two months later Thomas' mother Rebecca and his sisters also arrived.⁴⁹
