Marion was a CAG (California Association for Gifted) Teacher of the Year in 1990 for the Tri-Counties area (Ventura, Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo).    She founded the Santa Maria Children's Honor Choir and directed it from 1979 to 1986.    She has a 1994 masters degree in Organizational Management from Antioch University, Santa Barbara, CA, as well as certificates as a trainer in "Unlearning Prejudice" and "Brain Based Learning".^d

Marion currently (2008) resides in Vancouver, Washington.^d
