Heather and Oliver were divorced in 1957.1,2  

Heather spent six years in Frankfurt, Germany working for the U.S. military as a civilian, and traveled extensively to many countries.2  

She then married Andrew P. Tomas, Nov 17 1976, Cobenhavn (Copenhagen), Denmark.1,2  Heather and Andrew had met in Zurich in 1974.2  

Andrew P. Tomas is a world renowned author of several books, the most noted, "We Are Not the First", was a best seller for over six months.2  

No children by this marriage.1  

Heather Hinshaw was a talented mezzo soprano and won a scholarship to the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.  She was offered the lead in "Carmen" her second year there.1  

Heather and Andrew currently (1999) reside in Chico, California with their many birds, dogs and cats.2
