She married Alva Davis Swaim1 [Alvey Davis Swaim6], Oct 15 19141, Scottsboro, Jackson County, Alabama1.  Alva, son of William Swaim & Hester Jane Collins, was born Feb 10 1890, Estillfork, Jackson County, Alabama.1,2,3,4,6  Note that Carrie's sister Elizabeth married Alva's brother Joe Swaim.1

On Jun 5 1917 Alvey Davis Swaim, age 27, registered for the World War I draft in Jackson County, Alabama.  He declared he was born Feby 10 1890 in Estill Fork, Alabama, and was then residing in Swaim, Alabama where he was a farmer with a wife and one child.  He was recorded as medium height, stout, dark blue eyes, dark brown hair.6

Living next door in 1920 was the family of sister Elizabeth;9 also living nearby was the family of brother Emmett,10 as well as Carrie's parents and siblings.11

She then married Ovie Robertson Collins, Aug 31 1953, Madison County, Alabama.7,16  Ovie, son of Wilson Lee "Bob" Collins & Martha Elizabeth Bean, was born Dec 16 1890, Milan, Jackson County, Alabama.5,6,17,18  

Ovie had been previously married to 1) Margaret E. "Maggie" Tubbs (May 3 1914); 2) Lillie Ann Gifford (Nov 4 1922).18  

Ovie died Jul 29 1967, buried Henshaw Cemetery, Jackson County, Alabama.5,17  

Carrie Ann Henshaw died Nov 18 1989, Belvidere, Franklin County, Tennessee; buried Collins Cemetery, on Milan Hill, near Estillfork, Jackson County, Alabama.1,4,5,7
