He married Sarah Fannie Austill5,11 [Fannie Austell1,7], Feb 19 18885,11, Jackson County, Alabama5,11.  Sarah, daughter of Martin/Mathew Thermon + Laviney Amanda Austill, was born May - 1866, Jackson County, Alabama.3,7,13,14  

Note these Hinshaws and Austills were apparently friendly as George's aunt Martha Ann Hinshaw married Fannie's brother, John R. Austill, and Madison Hinshaw married Fannie's sister Mary Jane Austill.

Living next door in 1900 was the family of uncle Robert Tribble Hinshaw;15 one more house away were Big Tom's grandparents and family;16 one more house away was the family of aunt Martha (Hinshaw) Austill.17  

Sarah died about 1900.1  

He then married Martha L. Austill, about 1904.1,4  Martha, daughter of Martin/Mathew Thermon + Laviney Amanda Austill, was born about 1857, Alabama.18,19,20  (c1859).4  (c1865).21  Martha was Fannie's sister.1
