Eva Louise Hinshaw Hantover September 11, 1905 - May 27, 2002 Eva L. Hantover, 96, died on May 27, 2002, at Westminster Manor in Austin. She was born September 11, 1905, to Edward Newton Hinshaw and Lona Maude Pluncket Hinshaw in Rankin, Illinois. She spent her early years, with her family, on homesteads in Minot, North Dakota, and Wesby, Montana. After graduating from high school in Sibley, Illinois, she went into nurse's training at the then Brokaw Hospital in Normal, Illinois, and became a registered nurse. She and her husband were both members of the vista team at the Apache Indian Reservation in the mountains of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 47 years, Dr. Matthew James Hantover, her second husband of 6 years, Mr. Charles Madden, her sister Mildred Jones, her brothers, Don N. Hinshaw, E. Virgil Hinshaw and Merton E. Hinshaw. Eva is survived by her daughter, Diane Adele Hantover Bennett and her husband James Lee Bennett; her granddaughters, Jeanne Ann Bennett Hurta Morgan, Diane Elizabeth Bennett, Danielle Lee Bennett Sullivan; grandson, James Matthew Bennett; and her great-grandson, Samuel Christopher Bennett-Hurta. There will be no formal services. Her ashes will be taken to Sun City, Arizona, to be placed with her first husband.
