Leland Mich. Oct 10 Z. E. Hinshaw county clerk of Leelanau county, died Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock after failing gradually for two years.    Funeral will be held Saturday morning at ten o’clock.
Mr. Hinshaw was born sixty seven years ago in Ohio and when twenty seven years of [age] came to Michigan making his home in Traverse City.    The deceased lived here about twenty years removing then to Cedar Run where he lived six years, thence to Bingham where seven years was passed and lastly to Leland where he held the office of county clerk for the past six and one half years.    The deceased leaves a widow and six children.    Mrs. Stillwell of Rapid City, Mrs. Fannie Adsit of Traverse City; Russell Hinshaw of Bingham; Waldo Hinshaw, Ethel Hinshaw and Harry Hinshaw of Leland.
Z. E. Hinshaw was one of the oldest and best known pioneers of this region respected and loved by all who knew him.
