He married Rachel Hodgin1,5,6,9,10 [Rachel Hodgson6], 12-20-18381,5,6,9,10, Cherry Grove MM, Randolph County, Indiana1,5,6,9,10.  Rachel, daughter of Joseph Hodgin & Ruth Dicks, was born 1819, North Carolina.1,2,3,4  

Note that Rachel's brother Tilnias Hodgin married Solomon's sister Rachel.  

At Cherry Grove MM on 6-12-1847, Solomon & family were granted a certificate to White River MM.1  

At White River MM on 7-3-1847, Solomon & Rachel & sons Ira, Benjamin F., & Philander were received on a certificate from Cherry Grove MM.1

After Solomon died, Amy remarried to her brother-in-law, Tilnias Hodgin, widower of Solomon's sister Rachel.3
