I Jacob Hinshaw of Randolph County and State of North Carolina
Being in health of body and of perfect mind and memory.
But knowing the Mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all men
once to die
I do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner following.
And as touching each worldly Estate as it has pleased the lord
to bless me with.
I Bequeath Give devise and dispose of in the following manner
I ordain and constitute my son
William Hinshaw
and my son inlaw
William Hinshaw
to be my whole and soal Executors and trustees of this my last
will & testament ----- First I allow my funeral charges & just debts to first paid out of my Estate ----- I give & Bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecca Hinshaw a bed and furniture and a Chest of half my [-unclear-] and [-unclear-] furniture and her mintainance on my plantation during her natural life --- Item I give to my daughter Ann McMullin five Shillings I give to my son Thomas Hinshaw five Shillings I give to my son Joseph Hinshaw five Shillings I give to my son Benjamin Hinshaw five Shillings I give to my daughter Mary Hinshaw five Shillings I give to my son William Hinshaw Ten Pounds I give to my son Jacob Hinshaw Ten Pounds I give to my daughter Rebecca Cox five Shillings I give to my daughter Elizabeth Hinshaw five Shillings I give to my daughter Jean Hinshaw two [-unclear-] of [-unclear-] Sheep & Side Saddle & my [-unclear-] Rack of half my [-unclear-] furniture [-unclear-] and other things & a bed & furniture Loom & [-unclear-] belonging And after my wifes decease I allow my land to be sold and the remaining part of my Estate that are upon the premises and to be equally divided between my Children Living In witness and Testimony whereof I Jacob Hinshaw have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 15th Day of the Second month commonly February & in the year of our lord 1791 ----- Signd & Seald in the presence of us Jacob Hinshaw
