There is a funny post-hike story. We went to the adjacent San Jose Flea Market based on some info from the Hayward Hikers. That turned out to be a bust for beer (but an interesting place), so we headed to the different venue above. That worked out well. Many hours later, after the sun had set, two of us were still there. Later, one of us had a black eye and the other was riding a bike several miles in the dark. . .
