Tried to add elevation to this hike but still only managed 2.4k ft. It did feature a lot of new trail and, despite my fears, there were very few other hikers and even fewer bikers outside of the paved area near the shore. I had been expecting bombing mountain bikes the whole time.

In other news, everyone went the same direction for a change.
